Nestled behind a secret door on the edge of our Walled Gardens, The Bothy by Wildsmith, our space of wellbeing, gently opened its doors. It sits looking out over our secluded corner of Hampshire countryside, hugged by the ancient choreography of trees planted by our former Head Gardener and namesake of The Bothy’s skincare and wellbeing concept, William Walker Wildsmith. A close connection to our surroundings and a deep respect for the natural world threads through its Wildsmith therapies – from treatments guided by the universal principles of circadian rhythm to our long awaited 18 m x 6 m chlorine-free Waters and thermal and hydrotherapies.

With the beginning of this new chapter underway, we’re looking for passionate Wellness Practitioners to join our team and help to continue shaping our Bothy journey. Successful candidates will be fully committed to delivering the highest quality of guest experience, as well as professionally engaging with guests and employees to create a healing environment of warmth and joy.

We’re looking to build a team that are skilled across a range of modalities to include:

  • Biodynamic-bodywork
  • Shiatsu
  • Thai
  • Remedial Massage
  • Reflexology
  • Deep Tissue
  • Sports Massage
  • Lymphatic Drainage
  • NLP
  • Other complementary therapies
  • Somatic experiences

Wellness Practitioner Requirements

Designed to protect and enhance a curated, considered, and intimate guest experience, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a professionally recognised qualification, such as an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant therapy or wellness discipline
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years’ massage experience, delivering treatments that are deeply therapeutic and tailored to individual guest needs
  • Hold qualifications that include Holistic Therapies and Advanced Therapies
  • Have experience working in or alongside wellness retreats, with an understanding of immersive and holistic guest journeys
  • Facial qualification is preferred, with the ability to deliver results-driven yet nurturing treatments
  • Demonstrate strong industry experience, ideally supported by a reputable and consistent track record
  • Show a genuine commitment to continuous learning, with an openness to developing new skills and refining techniques
  • Embody a calm, caring, and compassionate presence, creating a safe and restorative environment for guests and colleagues
  • Be a collaborative and supportive team player, contributing positively to a harmonious working environment
  • Represent and promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle, aligned with the values and ethos of the brand
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism at all times
  • Have previous Spa Therapist experience, with an understanding of delivering a high-standard, personalised service
