Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored hotel on a 400-acre farm in the county of Hampshire, just outside of London. We are currently looking for a

House Manager to join our Team.

To act as the primary host for resident guests and a true ambassador for the estate.

This role oversees the seamless delivery of service across the House, including all‑day dining, afternoon tea, terrace service, picnics, and seasonal or pop‑up food and beverage activity around the estate.

Working closely with the Bar Manager, the House Manager takes full ownership of the House operation, ensuring an intuitive, warm and consistent guest experience that reflects the values, philosophy and farm‑to‑fork ethos of Heckfield Place.

Position responsibilities include but aren't limited to

  • Be visibly present on the floor during service, demonstrating leadership and guest engagement.
  • Ownership of the House, Dining Room, Italian Terrace and In-Room Dining including picnics, estate F&B seasonal offerings and room’s amenities.
  • Ensure guest profiles and dietary requirements are updated and communicated to the team.
  • Deliver personalised service using guest profiles, daily memos and traces.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and empower the team to do the same.
  • Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Maintain performance under pressure and adapt to changing guest needs.
  • Maintain the highest level of communication between the F&B house team and all the internal departments including Front Office, Room Division, Kitchen and House Keeping.
  • Set the highest level of service and guest expectations supported by intensive staff training and daily staff briefing.
  • Create and maintain Daily Training Sessions.
