Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored hotel on a 400-acre farm in the county of Hampshire, just outside of London. In Marle and Hearth restaurants, we prepare food and drink that celebrates simplicity, the seasons, and a sense of place. We're honoured to hold a green Michelin star at Marle.
Front of House is currently looking for a Host to join our F&B Team. Position responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Helping the Head Host with the coordination of reservations and table allocation, by researching the customers and updating the Reservation system.
- Providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests.
- Managing table reservations in an efficient and timely manner.
- Experience of working within, or desire to work within high-end restaurants.
- Completing daily opening and closing procedures as per operating manual for all restaurant outlets.
- Liaising with other hotel departments to ensure guests' needs are met and communicated in an efficient and timely manner.
- Reviewing all reservations for each shift and assigning suitable tables.
- Maintaining a good knowledge of all aspects of Heckfield Place and its operations.
- Having excellent attention to detail with good computer skills.
- Excellent attention to details and personal presentation.
