Who We're Looking For
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in managing project costs, administering contracts, and ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. You could be working on structural, civil, water or roading infrastructure projects depending on your experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Administer contracts and monitor contractual obligations
- Evaluate and process subcontractor claims and variations
- Undertake procurement and subcontract management activities
- Prepare and negotiate progress claims and final accounts
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
- Support project teams with financial and commercial advice
- Ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting across projects
What you will bring
As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor within the civil and structural infrastructure and construction infrastructure sector you will have:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction, infrastructure, or civil sectors
- Strong understanding of contract administration and cost management principles
- Experience managing variations, claims, forecasting, and reporting
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment
