Maintain and update the www.heavenplayground.org website structure and design. Ensure the online shop functions smoothly, is user-friendly and all products are displayed correctly. Handle general technical troubleshooting and maintenance (security, speed etc). Impact Ensuring Access to Crucial Support – Your work keeps the doors of our digital home open 24/7, ensuring bereaved families can access immediate, practical and emotional support when they need it most. Memory Box Delivery – The online shop is critical; you ensure it is secure and easy to navigate so families can purchase Memory Boxes without added stress during their darkest time. Access to Remembrance – You enable families to download Certificates of Life, personalized graphics and participate in remembrance projects like the Perpetual Flame, making these healing tools immediately available. Building Trust and Credibility – A professional, secure and user-friendly website builds trust with families and potential funders. Trust and Reliability – A well-maintained site reflects the professionalism and trustworthiness of Heaven’s Playground Org, vital for grieving individuals and partners. Funding Confidence – Seamless, modern platforms show grant providers and corporate fundraisers that we steward donations responsibly. Sustaining Our Mission – Efficient online shop management directly contributes to the financial health and sustainability of the organization. Revenue Generation – The shop provides a steady income that funds core charitable work, such as the donation of Memory Boxes to hospitals. Freeing Up Core Team Time – By owning website maintenance and shop management, you free core team members to focus on emotional support, grant writing and new projects. Qualifications Proven experience with website design/CMS is obviously the most important requirement. Followed by: Knowledge of or willingness to learn WordPress and WooCommerce systems Product Management CRM expertise desirable Strong eye for design Good English and Maths Good organizational skills Knowledge of GDPR and how it works Location Remote Responsibilities Polish the new website designed by GrassRoots, ensuring smooth and accurate operation. Work with the Social Media Volunteer on developing new pages such as a blog, monthly news page and campaigns to attract footfall. Prioritize the online shop, ensuring it is fully functional before the annual silent auction in May. Collaborate with a supervisor to sign off work before it goes live. Possibly draw on personal experience of loss to better understand the target demographic.
