Must have own means of transport to get to client's home.
Main Activities:
- Provide home care to the elderly, disabled persons, individuals with health needs and others in the community with identified needs.
- Work with minimal supervision and be able to attend to the needs of service users in fulfilling the requirements of the care package.
- Work collaboratively with the team, the manager/team leaders, and the service user to ensure their needs are met.
- Adhere to training and support from the organisation as required in order to develop your own skills and knowledge.
- To assist with and/or administer medication as and when required.
- To prepare and ensure adequate nutrition and hydration (meals and drinks) for service users.
