With 40+ years’ experience, we service, maintain and optimise HIUs, CIUs, MVHRs, plant rooms, and substations. Our real-time monitoring integrates with Building Management Systems and Metering & Billing systems to improve performance, reduce waste, support HNTAS compliance, and deliver low-carbon heat network solutions.
We are seeking an experienced sub-contract Heat Interface Unit (HIU) Service & Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and commissioning support on HIU and MVHR systems within residential and mixed-use properties. The role is ideal for a reliable, self-employed engineer with strong hydraulic and mechanical knowledge of communal heating systems.
We have an immediate need for several engineers on current new build and occupied projects, which require many months of both full & part time works. All work is in and around London / South East.
Key Responsibilities- Commissioning and recommissioning HIUs following installation or remedial works
- Completing service reports, checklists, and certification accurately and on time
- Liaising with residents, site managers, and property management teams in a professional manner
- Identifying remedial works and reporting parts or system defects
- Working in compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
Additional training and tools may be provided, depending on the requirements of each specific project.
