About the role:

We're looking for a proactive Quality Inspector to support our growing team by carrying out quality inspections, monitoring processes, and helping drive ongoing improvements throughout the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on product quality and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
- Conducting internal audits
- Performing goods-inward, product, and equipment quality inspections
- Carrying out daily process-based quality checks and recording results
- Monitoring scrap levels and investigating root causes
- Raising and progressing corrective actions with suppliers
- Supporting validation of supplier corrective actions
- Overseeing internal and external calibration of equipment
- Assisting in the creation of SOPs and work instructions
- Managing and reporting on customer returns
- Undertaking projects focused on continuous improvement and Lean principles
- Ensuring clear, accurate documentation and communication across teams
Skills & Qualities:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience using basic measuring equipment
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and QMS record-keeping abilities
- Organised, able to work in a busy environment, and willing to challenge where needed
- IOSH / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 internal auditor training
- 5S experience
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems
- Knowledge of root cause analysis tools
