Heaton House Farm is a family-run events business and home to Stable Yard Catering, our onsite and external catering company. We’re renowned for delivering exceptional weddings, alongside charity events, corporate meetings and flagship company events. Our team works both here at Heaton House Farm and at venues across the region, all supported by our professional and friendly team.

We’re looking for brilliant casual/part-time Bar & Beverage Team Members to join us and help create a fantastic experience for our guests. Our bars are a big part of the guest experience at Heaton House Farm, from welcoming guests with their first drink and serving throughout wedding receptions, to keeping the celebrations flowing into the evening.

We have lots of weddings and events taking place during the week, so if you have regular weekday and evening availability, we’d love to hear from you. We also have a smaller number of weekend positions available, so please still apply if weekends suit you better. This is a flexible, casual role where you submit your availability each month, making it ideal for fitting work around college, other jobs or commitments. We have events throughout the year, including weddings, corporate events and our busy programme of winter and Christmas events.

Typical shifts include:

  • 11am – 7pm – Welcoming guests, drinks and reception service
  • 2pm–10pm – Bar and beverage service at weddings and events
  • 7pm–late – Evening bar service

About You

You’ll be passionate about providing a great experience for our clients and their guests. You’ll have a positive, can-do attitude, be a great communicator and enjoy working in a busy, sociable environment. You’ll be confident speaking to guests, happy working at pace and take pride in delivering friendly and professional service. You’ll work well independently when needed, but equally enjoy being part of a supportive team.

Previous bar or hospitality experience is great, but it’s not essential – a positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important. We’ll help you learn the ropes and build your confidence behind the bar.

About the Job

You’ll be part of the team delivering our bar and drinks service across weddings and events, helping make sure every guest receives a warm welcome and brilliant service. Your role will include serving drinks, taking orders, restocking bars, preparing glassware, keeping bar areas organised and helping everything run smoothly during busy events. Cleanliness is incredibly important to us, so you’ll help keep the bars, equipment and work areas clean and tidy, following our clean-as-you-go approach throughout every shift.

Above all, you’ll help create the friendly, professional atmosphere our guests remember – whether you’re pouring the first glass of fizz or serving the final round of the evening. If you’re looking for a flexible part-time role and can regularly work days, evenings and later finishes during the week, we’d particularly love to hear from you.
