SJK Healthcare is urgently recruiting an experienced Respiratory Outpatients Nurse to support specialist respiratory clinics across NHS hospitals. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong respiratory knowledge and experience managing chronic respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting consultant-led respiratory clinics
- Conducting respiratory assessments & clinical observations
- Managing patients with conditions such as:
- Asthma
- COPD
- Bronchiectasis
- Interstitial lung disease (ILD)
- Post-COVID respiratory complications
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Spirometry (if trained)
- Peak flow
- FeNO testing
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required)
- Minimum 1 year experience in Respiratory, General Medicine, or Acute Care
- Experience with spirometry or inhaler education is beneficial
- Strong communication and patient support skills
- Confident working independently within busy outpatient settings
- Ability to manage complex respiratory patient needs
- You must live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
