We are seeking a dedicated, inspiring, and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology (DT) with Resistant Material who is passionate about creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving. The successful candidate will:

  • Be confident teaching Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a specialist focus on Resistant Materials.
  • Deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire creativity, technical skill, and innovative thinking.
  • Plan thoughtful, creative lessons that make literature accessible while stretching the most able.
  • Use assessment effectively to support student progress in designing, making, and evaluating.
  • Adapt teaching to ensure all learners—including beginners and high achievers—can access and enjoy Design Technology.
  • Contribute to a rich extracurricular programme, such as design clubs, art workshops, exhibitions, or STEM-related activities.
