Reporting to the Airport Service Manager, you will be joining their Terminal 4 Maintenance Support Team at Heathrow Airport.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on the system.
- Perform electrical and mechanical tasks (including motors, bearings and belts) including analytical troubleshooting in planned as well as reactive environments.
- Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales.
- Able to deal with any control technical faults.
- Support on identifying problematic faults and rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis.
- Perform maintenance tasks on PLC Systems.
- Support existing site based BEUMER Group Maintenance colleagues.
- Capable of meeting targets and deadlines.
- Working as part of a team and also comfortable working on your own.
Qualifications:
- You need to hold relevant qualifications in either mechanical or electrical, for example City and Guilds/NVQ or an ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- You hold some experience from a similar role, preferably within sortation and distribution or a fast moving production environment.
- You may have knowledge of Emergency Stop Systems and Safety Supervision Systems.
- You have excellent communication skills and solid IT skills, primarily with Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work night shifts.
