Cobalt Ground Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join their busy and dynamic team in Heathrow Airport.
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for keeping the ground service equipment (GSE) fleet operational. The work involves dealing with breakdowns and repairs, as well as scheduled servicing and maintenance.
Successful applicants will be required to provide checkable and reliable references (education and/or employment) for the last 5 years, and any gaps in employment. You must have a full UK driving licence (max 3 penalty points). All positions work a rotating shift pattern across a 7‑day working week, with a mix of early and late shifts, so flexibility is essential.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent qualification
- Plant or heavy goods vehicle training
- LGV UK driving licence an advantage
- Experience of both diesel and electric vehicles, hydraulics and welding
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Experience of a busy workshop
