Please note we have multiple positions available, both permanent and 12-month FTCs.
The Learning Design Associate position will act as a support to the Learning Design Specialist in reviewing and updating current Security technical content as well as producing new learning content associated with any changes in regulation, syllabus, or business priorities.
You may also work with both internal and external stakeholders, manufacturers and suppliers, the regulator (both CAA and DfT) and be accountable for the production and delivery of training and training materials associated with any new technology being introduced at Heathrow.
- Working within the wider Learning Team for the delivery and production of all relevant training material across Heathrow.
- Reviewing and updating of training material associated with initial and recurrent training for Security colleagues across LHR.
- Producing training materials that are in line with regulation and liaising with the regulators to ensure consistency in approach.
- Liaising with manufacturers to understand the operation of and instructions associated with any new technology being introduced.
- Embedding inclusive content into design principles.
- Digitalisation of content design within Security courses.
Experience in the use of design tools such as PowerPoint, Articulate or the Adobe suite. Confident to work across all levels of the organisation with clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ideally you will be:
- Certified Instructors Number (CIN) ideal but not essential.
- Project management skills.
- Instructional design experience essential.
