You will work with the leadership teams to drive change and modernise and improve ways of working, for example, through the introduction of new technology to ensure we make Heathrow an extraordinary place to work for our colleagues. As one of our HR (People) Business Partners, you will drive performance by building great relationships and by providing constructive challenges to people-related matters. To be an extraordinary place to work the People team support Leaders/colleagues fulfil their potential and work together to lead change across Heathrow with energy and pride.

HR Business Partners support in the development and implementation of the people plan that changes our culture, raises leadership capability, identifies a pipeline for the future and maximises engagement at Heathrow.

Your role will involve:

  • Working with Directors and their Leadership Teams to create and deliver the people plans, ensuring return on people investment activities are maximised in the short to medium term.
  • Coaching, challenging, and influencing business leaders to raise the bar on performance across the function and drive highly engaged teams.
  • Interpreting the business areas plans, diagnosing the people implications, and translating that into a clear people strategy.
  • Delivering and implementing change management projects in line with best practice, ensuring that change is well managed, outcomes are sustained, and benefits are realised.
  • Developing the strategic workforce plans for the business unit through analysis of current resource and talent levels, including the future skill demands, in collaboration with resourcing and talent team.
  • Providing trusted expert advice and support on a range of People activity by engaging and working collaboratively with our Areas of Excellence (reward, employee relations, talent and development, people services).

These Skills Are Essential:

  • Demonstrable business partnering experience with senior management teams within an operational environment and across the CofE's in the People Team.
  • Experience and knowledge of all aspects of HR including Employee Relations, Organisational Design, Resourcing, Talent Management and Reward.
  • Experience of working in a unionised environment, establishing effective and collaborative relationships.
  • Experience in data-driven insights to enable effective decision making.
  • Experience of delivering robust, commercial HR solutions across a complex environment.
  • In depth experience in managing and embedding Change from an HR perspective.
  • Level 7 CIPD qualified.

Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
