Description Join Heathrow’s Communities and Residential Property team, a team dedicated to building trust and fostering positive relationships with the communities surrounding the airport.

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting engagement strategies that address key operational impacts and community concerns, helping to protect and enhance Heathrow’s reputation as a responsible neighbor.

In this role, you will work closely with Community Engagement Manager to deliver tailored engagement activities, ensuring that local voices are heard and reflected in Heathrow’s decision making.

You will be at the heart of the issues that matter most to our communities, capturing feedback, supporting events, and maintaining clear communication channels.

Your work will directly influence how Heathrow responds to community needs and supports its strategic expansion plans.

Responsibilities Build strong understanding of local communities, ensuring their needs and feedback inform engagement and decision-making.

Support the planning and execution of community events, including logistics, speaker coordination, and on-the-day engagement.

Manage and respond to community inquiries through the Community Relations Helpdesk, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.

Capture, record, and share stakeholder feedback with internal teams to inform business decisions and improve community relations.

Assist in producing clear, accessible communication materials across digital and traditional channels to keep communities informed.

Prepare reports and updates on community engagement activities and emerging issues for senior leadership review.

Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging diverse community groups face-to-face and online.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proven ability to write clearly and inclusively for a range of audiences.

Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends for community events.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Ideally you will have Experience in community engagement or stakeholder relations within a large organisation.

Experience in coordinating events or community activities.
