At Heathrow, we’re building an extraordinary place to work - one where every colleague feels heard, valued, and proud to be part of the organisation. We’re looking for an Employee Experience (EX) Manager who’s part strategist, part storyteller - someone passionate about our employee experience (EX) who can translate a complex cross‑functional picture into tangible action, and partner with our leaders to improve our colleague experience at scale. This role is about shaping the end‑to‑end colleague listening ecosystem and using it to drive meaningful change.
Your role will involve:
- Leading our colleague listening strategy – Pulse surveys, lifecycle insights, onboarding, focus groups… working closely with specialist data & insight teams to ensure we have a clear understanding of colleague sentiment.
- Partnering with our People Business Partners & Engagement Leads – Providing expertise and strategic insight to our functions, enabling them to design and deliver tailored EX plans.
- Driving action – Running the governance model to ensure our colleague voice is acted on and we hold stakeholders accountable.
- Telling the story behind the data – Working closely with data & insights teams to turn numbers into meaningful narratives and action.
- Shaping the colleague journey – Identifying key touchpoints in our colleague experience and designing interventions that improve the experience for thousands.
- Championing our EX tech stack – Maximising the value and usage of our digital tools and platforms within EX.
- Aligning inside with outside – Bringing external best practice into Heathrow and ensuring the internal experience matches the employer brand we share with the world.
These Skills Are Essential:
- Experience showing a love for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience running or managing surveys/EX platforms (Qualtrics, Forsta, etc.).
- Confidence delivering governance – keeping multiple plans moving, aligned, and accountable.
- The confidence to influence without authority, especially with senior leaders.
- A thoughtful, curious mindset: strategic enough to see the system, grounded enough to make tactical change happen.
- An understanding of how engagement and EX drive tangible business outcomes.
