The ED&I Manager will partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive the delivery of Heathrow’s ED&I agenda. They will focus on implementing initiatives that have been set out in Heathrow’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy. Building and maintaining effective working relationships across Heathrow, particularly within the People team and with diversity networks, they will provide support and data-driven insight – playing an important role in supporting Heathrow to be a diverse and inclusive employer.
Your role will involve:
- Overseeing and implementing ED&I initiatives that support Heathrow’s strategic objectives and business goals
- Guiding and coordinating Diversity Network governance, ensuring clear aims and robust delivery plans for each network
- Providing expert advice on ED&I best practice, fostering a positive culture and embedding ED&I across all activities
- Analysing ED&I data to identify trends, inform strategic decisions, and monitoring progress throughout the business
- Developing and managing initiatives such as reverse mentoring, pledges, and accreditations to promote inclusive leadership and strengthen ED&I
These Skills Are Essential:
- Solid knowledge and experience supporting equity, diversity & inclusion activities
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels, including senior leaders
- Experience managing projects or programmes, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deliver activity to time and quality
- Good communicator and brand ambassador; able to represent ED&I internally and Heathrow at external events
- Comfortable with dealing with sensitive topics and information
- Data literacy, with confidence in analysing data to drive meaningful change

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
