The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for understanding business needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements that enable the successful delivery of digital and technology solutions across Heathrow’s Commercial & Digital Platforms. The role operates across a range of enterprise systems, including Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, integration services, data platforms, and other key technologies, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Working within Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks, the BA collaborates closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and cross‑functional delivery teams to define outcomes, shape solutions, and support delivery throughout the full product lifecycle—from discovery and definition through to implementation and value realisation. The role also flexibly supports delivery models where required, including elements of Waterfall alongside Agile, ensuring effective coordination and successful outcomes across diverse project environments.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business domain, stakeholders, and strategic objectives to define clear, outcome‑focused requirements.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into Epics, Features, and User Stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to define scope, priorities, and solution options.
  • Operate within Agile and SAFe frameworks, supporting backlog refinement, prioritisation, and delivery ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Architecture, and Test teams to design and deliver solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring end‑to‑end traceability through design, build, and test.
  • Contribute to the Business Analysis community by providing guidance and assurance to supplier BAs, supporting governance alignment, and maintaining strong knowledge sharing and capability development.

Educated to degree level or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business outcomes & requirements. Strong stakeholder & relationship management skills, tactful diplomat, assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings and a team player working across multiple virtual teams. Great communicators (oral, written and presentation) able to deliver difficult/sensitive information to a diverse group including: Executives, Managers, and Product Owners. Ability to respond to in a rapidly changing business environment and to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and to prioritise work accordingly.

Ideally you will also have knowledge of the airport business and airline processes. Professional BA qualification.
