As a Commercial Project Manager, you are part of a Commercial team that drives our profitability across everything from property and retail through to passenger services like parking and the aeronautical side of things.

As a Commercial Projects Manager, you will lead the delivery of key elements of business cases and manage approval processes for business partner fit-outs. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all projects meet Heathrow standards and regulatory requirements. You will be part of the Commercial Projects team.

Commercial provides space to tenants, concessionaires and other partners to drive revenue. To support this, partners require the agility to adapt and enhance their spaces in a controlled and efficient way. We enable the delivery of fit-outs and projects that are safe, compliant and aligned to Heathrow standards, ensuring changes are managed effectively while maintaining operational integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing a strong working relationship with key stakeholders and ensuring that all user requirements are captured and approvals are in place to meet scheduled dates, as well as understanding regulatory requirements.
  • End to end execution planning and management, ensuring clear goals, roles and deliverables are well defined to ensure delivery of the goals and value for money of the expenditure.
  • Responsible for the safety of everyone involved or touched by the fit-outs projects.
  • Ensure the integration of design, development, construction delivery, commissioning and process requirements is achieved using the subject matter experts in the team.
  • Track and report on project performance using established systems and clear communication.
  • Ensure the project deliverables have been tested, commissioned and handed over in accordance with Heathrow requirements.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, coordinate effectively, and manage stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project lifecycles, governance, and delivery frameworks.
  • Managing project risk, including identifying, assessing, and developing mitigation strategies, with evidence of successful application to support project delivery.
  • Commercial awareness and experience working within a contractual environment.
  • Capability to solve problems, with well-developed analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ensuring accuracy in documentation, processes, and compliance requirements.
