This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in enhancing operational safety through communication, engagement, and partnership-building across a wide range of stakeholders including airlines, ground handlers, contractors, and airport staff.

Your role will involve
- Develop and lead safety engagement initiatives across the airside community.
- Facilitate safety forums, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote shared awareness and responsibility
- Organise and deliver events such as safety week.
- Partner with operational teams to identify safety concerns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Promote the implementation of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Just Culture principles
- Act as a key liaison between airport management and airside partners on safety-related matters.
- Contribute to incident investigations and follow-up actions through a combined, learning-focused approach.

- Strong knowledge of airside operations, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in safety engagement, community outreach, or stakeholder management within an aviation or operational environment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and social skills.
- Ability to influence and build trust across diverse teams and external partners.

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
