We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding company for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team, working with high-value goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and processing high-value freight shipments
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Checking, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Operating a forklift to move and store stock (valid licence required)
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring all goods are handled in line with security procedures
- Working closely with the warehouse and operations team
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience (freight/logistics preferred)
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
- Experience handling high-value or secure goods is an advantage
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work well as part of a team
