We are recruiting for someone who has 2 years + experience in transport planning in the UK and an understanding of Irish and EU transport is an advantage but not essential. A good understanding of customs procedures is also preferred. You must have a background in looking after a fleet of HGV vehicles and arranging domestic transport and some international.
Duties:
- Arranging deliveries & collections
- Monitoring drivers' hours, tachographs and understanding customer requirements such as ADR
- Liaising with drivers regularly to ensure deliveries are on track and as planned
- Updating customers and responding to queries
- A knowledge of temperature controlled goods or pharmaceuticals would be an advantage but not essential.
2 positions available - Monday to Friday, 42.5 hour week between 06:00 - 20:00. Tuesday to Saturday shift, 42.5 hours between 06:00 - 20:00.
