We are currently recruiting for a Road Freight Coordinator Trainee to join a growing freight forwarding team.
Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30pm
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in freight forwarding and European road freight. Full training will be provided, so previous freight experience is not essential.
The role:
- Coordinate European road freight imports and exports
- Liaise with customers, hauliers and overseas agents
- Arrange collections, deliveries and customs clearance
- Prepare and check transport documentation
- Track shipments and keep customers updated
- Assist with quotations, invoices and general administration
- Learn about European freight, customs and international logistics
About you:
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Confident communicator
- Good administration and IT skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Positive, reliable and keen to learn
- Previous office, customer service, transport or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential
