We are recruiting for an Air Export Clerk to join our client's growing team based near Thorpe .
This role is ideal for someone who has recently started their career in freight forwarding and is looking for a new challenge.
Applicants should have 1–2 years' experience within air freight.
Working Hours Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm Salary £27,000 – £28,000 per annum Key Responsibilities Complete export customs clearance documentation.
Arrange and book collections with airlines and carriers.
Assist with the preparation of Air Waybills (AWBs).
Liaise with overseas agents and customers to ensure smooth shipment movement.
Ensure all export documentation is accurate and completed within deadlines.
Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the export process.
Skills Experience 1–2 years' experience within air freight or freight forwarding.
Good knowledge of export customs procedures.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
