We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee dual-site warehouse operation. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering efficient operations, excellent customer service, and strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations across two nearby sites
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives and technicians
- Ensure accurate stock control, inventory management, and use of WMS systems
- Oversee Goods In/Out processes, storage, and compliance procedures
- Monitor KPIs, drive performance, and implement continuous improvements
- Maintain health & safety standards, audits, and site security
- Support budgeting and P&L, identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and customers
- Manage staffing, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews
Key Requirements:
- 5 years experience in a warehouse leadership role
- Strong people management and customer-facing skills
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and H&S regulations
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting cost control initiatives
- Good IT skills (Excel essential; Oracle desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
