Our client is seeking an experienced Transport/Fleet Compliance professional to support the safe, legal, and efficient operation of their vehicle fleet. A full UK driving license (cars and light commercial vehicles) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Operator License (O License) compliance in line with DVSA and Traffic Commissioner requirements
- Manage fleet records, vehicle planners, and preventative maintenance schedules
- Monitor driver defects, tachograph data, infringements, and Working Time Directive (WTD) compliance
- Ensure all vehicles are legal, compliant, and correctly registered under the appropriate O License
- Communicate with drivers regarding training, DCPC, licenses, and legislative updates (UK/EU)
- Maintain accurate records on RHA portal and fleet systems
- Manage vehicle defects, accidents, and insurance liaison to minimise downtime
- Support driver recruitment and onboarding, ensuring full legal compliance
- Escalate H&S and RTA issues as required
- Work with suppliers to maintain fleet compliance and control costs
