We are seeking an experienced Road & Air Freight Operator to manage import and export shipments while delivering a premium white glove customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end road and air freight shipments (import & export)
- Arrange collections, deliveries, and customs clearance
- Liaise with airlines, hauliers, overseas agents, and customers
- Prepare shipping documentation (AWBs, CMRs, invoices, etc.)
- Provide proactive updates and resolve shipment queries
- Ensure compliance with customs and company procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ freight forwarding experience (road and/or air)
- Strong knowledge of UK import/export procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
