We are currently looking for an Operations Assistant to join a busy and growing logistics team.
Key duties include:
- Booking flights with airlines and agents
- Raising export customs entries on CDS (Descartes)
- Manifesting, pre-alerting flights, and raising MAWBs
- Liaising with HMRC on customs amendments and statuses
- Warehouse support including labelling, bagging, and shipment checks
- Supporting transport requirements when needed
Key Skills:
- Experience in freight, logistics, or customs operations
- Good communication and admin skills
- Knowledge of imports/exports and customs procedures
- Forklift, DG awareness, and driving licence are desirable but not essential
- No heavy lifting involved (all shipments under 32kg).
Monday to Friday 12.00pm-21.00pm
