We are recruiting for an Import Clerk to join a busy team based in Colnbrook dealing with imports, there will be some exports also.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage air import shipments from arrival through to clearance and delivery
- Prepare and check import documentation (AWBs, invoices, customs entries)
- Coordinate customs clearance in line with current regulations
- Liaise with customers, airlines, and warehouse teams
- Track shipments and resolve any delays or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with customs and CAA requirements
Requirements
- Previous air import or freight forwarding experience
- Basic understanding of customs procedures and import documentation
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
