The Role

As Finance Assistant, you’ll join a friendly, supportive finance team and play a key part in the smooth running of daily operations. You’ll assist with accounts payable/receivable and help prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and upload sales invoices from the operating system into Sage with correct nominal coding
  • Process purchase invoices and supplier payments
  • Allocate supplier and customer receipts
  • Complete monthly reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, operating systems)
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team as required

About You

  • GCSEs (A–C) or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
  • Working knowledge of Sage and/or Microsoft Business Central
