We are recruiting for a well established medium sized freight forwarding company who are looking for an experienced export clerk who has strong airfreight experience.
Duties include:
- Bookings with airlines / hauliers and shippers
- Negotiating rates with airlines
- Completing full customs entries using CDS
- Dealing with all types of freight including DG shipments
- Staying up to date with market rates and being commercially aware to provide quotes to customers
- Customer service / handling key accounts
- Liaising with import department and working with warehouse / transport team
The working hours are: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm.
They are looking for someone who has a stable work history (no more than 2 / 3 jobs in 5-10 years). This would suit someone who is looking to join a growing company that offers progression.
