NEW VACANCY: We are recruiting for an EXPERIENCED ocean import clerk who has worked for a freight forwarder and has strong understanding of import processes and customs entries, previous experience of CDS customs system is a required.
You will be processing ocean freight import shipments from start to finish, creating files and updating customers throughout.
Duties include:
- Booking hauliers & liaising with 3rd party transport providers
- Completing import customs entries for sea freight on CDS
- Invoicing and billing of shipments
- Quotes where required xwwtmva or passing any potential new business quotes to the sales team
- Customer service
Salary range £30k - £33k
