Transport & Warehouse Manager to join a well established logistics business specialising in the secure handling of high value goods. Key Responsibilities
Manage daily transport and warehouse operations.
Lead and support a team of drivers and warehouse staff.
Ensure compliance with UK transport legislation, health & safety and security procedures.
Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing and compliance.
Manage secure storage, inventory control and dispatch operations.
Monitor driver hours and operational performance.
Respond to operational issues and maintain exceptional service standards.
Drive continuous improvements across transport and warehouse operations.
Key Skills
Previous experience managing transport and warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance.
Experience working with high-value or secure goods is advantageous.
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Full UK driving licence.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Flexible approach to working hours when required.
