Customs Entry Clerk
to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in freight forwarding and a strong understanding of customs procedures to play a key role in ensuring the accurate and compliant processing of import and export entries. Location:

£25,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm Contract:
Full-time, permanent Key Responsibilities Preparing and processing customs entries for both import and export consignments. Handling customs-related queries, including commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation requirements. Calculating customs duties and VAT accurately for each consignment. Processing duty reclaims and ensuring all relevant documentation is maintained. Ensuring compliance with current customs regulations and legislation as requirements evolve. Liaising with relevant parties to resolve customs entry queries and ensure the smooth processing of consignments. Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in a freight forwarding environment is essential. A comprehensive understanding of customs procedures, regulations and principles. Experience using Sequoia customs software would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently. Good organisational and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines. What's on Offer? Competitive salary of £25,000–£30,000, depending on experience. Full-time, permanent employment.
