We are seeking two experienced Air Import Clerks to join a busy air freight operation based at Heathrow. You will be responsible for managing import shipments from arrival through to customs clearance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and delivering a high level of service to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage air import shipments from arrival to final delivery
- Prepare and check import documentation including AWBs, invoices, and permits
- Coordinate customs clearance and submit declarations
- Liaise with customers, airlines, and warehouse teams
- Track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with customs and CAA regulations
- Previous experience in air import or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Hours: 18:00 - 06:00 (4 on / 4 off)
