We are recruiting for a well established company who deal in specialist goods to work within a busy operations department. You must have strong imports experience and come from a freight forwarding background to deal with air and road freight shipments. You will be using CDS to complete customs entries (experience essential).

Duties:

  • Prepare and process complex import, file accurate declarations (such as CDS in the UK) and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Handle import shipments for air and road freight start to finish including full customs entries.
  • Dealing with high net worth private commercial customers and monitoring shipments and keeping them up to date with how the shipping is progressing.
  • Providing quotes and liaising with relevant departments for costs.
  • Invoicing and billing of shipments.
  • Dealing with UK / EU road freight.
