We are looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Import professional to join our client.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers and coordinating their ocean import shipments from start to finish. This is a customer-facing role, so strong communication skills and a good understanding of the ocean freight import process are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ocean freight import shipments from start to finish .
- Coordinate shipments with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and internal teams.
- Provide a high level of customer service and keep customers updated throughout the shipment process.
- Manage your own portfolio of customers and ensure agreed KPIs and service levels are met.
- Handle import documentation and ensure shipments are processed correctly and efficiently.
- Work with internal teams to resolve any shipment or delivery issues.
- Build strong relationships with customers and overseas partners.
