We are recruiting on behalf of a leading air cargo and logistics business for an ambitious External Sales Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional


Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with new and existing customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored logistics solutions
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with clients
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong long-term customer relationships
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management
  • Manage customer queries efficiently, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the business
  • Occasional UK and international travel as required
Key kills
  • Previous experience in sales or business development (experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is highly desirable)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Confident in building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Self-motivated, driven, and target-oriented
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
