We are recruiting on behalf of a leading air cargo and logistics business for an ambitious External Sales Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional
- Meet with new and existing customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored logistics solutions
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with clients
- Build, maintain, and grow strong long-term customer relationships
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management
- Manage customer queries efficiently, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the business
- Occasional UK and international travel as required
- Previous experience in sales or business development (experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is highly desirable)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Confident in building and maintaining professional relationships
- Self-motivated, driven, and target-oriented
- Full UK driving licence is essential
