We are recruiting for an EXPERIENCED HGV 2 driver to join their well-established team. You will play an integral part in the smooth running of the transport department by covering deliveries and collections in Heathrow and the London/surrounding areas. There is an opportunity for European driving work and overtime also available.
- You will ensure all deliveries and collections are carried out securely and professionally at all times.
- Checking goods given to you by the warehouse/site.
- Supplying handovers to the warehouse staff.
- Driving short/long distance.
- Be willing to drive within the EU if required.
- Ensuring you carry out vehicle checks when required.
- Report any issues with vehicles or damages/accidents.
- Scan PODs as soon as deliveries are made to ensure the system/customer is kept up to date.
- Be smart and well presented.
- Be physically fit.
You must have a full 5-year checkable work history, have an HGV 2 License ideally for more than 2 years, and possess strong English skills - written and verbal. You must be familiar with driving routes and have good geographical knowledge. Full uniform is provided.
