We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Transport Supervisor
to join our client's busy operation in Sunbury. This is a great opportunity for a transport professional who enjoys a hands-on role and has a strong understanding of driver management, fleet compliance and day to day transport operations. Working Hours & Benefits

£38,000 per annum Hours:
Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:30pm Saturday:
One half-day Saturday every 3 weeks Location:
Sunbury Your responsibilities will include : Managing and supporting a team of drivers on a daily basis. Monitoring tachographs and drivers' hours . Overseeing vehicle checks, defects, servicing, MOTs and general fleet maintenance. Ensuring compliance with
Operator Licence requirements
and transport legislation. Managing driver issues, accidents, performance and disciplinary matters where required. Conducting driver and vehicle checks and ensuring daily driver debriefs are completed. Coordinating driver training, including
Driver CPC . Maintaining accurate fleet and compliance records and producing reports when required. Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed Working closely with drivers, management, suppliers and CPC holders. Managing fleet systems Helping to maintain high standards of vehicle safety, presentation and operational efficiency. About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience within a
transport, logistics or fleet environment
who is confident managing drivers and dealing with compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have: Good knowledge of transport operations and legislation. Experience with tachographs, drivers' hours and fleet compliance. Knowledge of Operator Licence requirements. Strong IT skills, including Excel and Word. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. A confident and supportive management style with the ability to motivate a team. CPC/Transport Manager qualification would be advantageous, although candidates willing to undertake the qualification will also be considered.
