We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Feltham for three Air Export Clerks to join their growing operations team.
Available Shifts:
- 1 x Air Export Clerk: 4 on / 4 off, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 2 x Air Export Clerks: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced freight forwarding environment, where you will be responsible for managing air export shipments from start to finish while providing exceptional service to key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage air export process from booking through to final delivery.
- Handle key customer accounts, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Arrange bookings with airlines and liaise with overseas agents, hauliers and customers.
- Prepare and process all export documentation.
- Ensure all shipments comply with export regulations and customer requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records using CargoWise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers and internal teams.
- Meet operational deadlines while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Previous experience within Air Freight Exports is essential.
- Experience using CargoWise.
- Proven experience managing key accounts.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation and customs procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
