We are recruiting for an experienced Export Freight Coordinator to join a busy and growing logistics operation based local to Heathrow. You will be coordinating export shipments, managing customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operations. Monday to Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry, booking collections, and preparing shipments for export
- Coordinate export groupage and full load movements
- Communicate with customers regarding bookings and queries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Provide transport companies with accurate collection and delivery instructions
- Monitor incoming emails and escalate any issues
- Support customs processes and ensure compliance
- Complete a late shift once a week for loading and customs completion
- Carry out additional duties as required
Skills Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in export freight (groupage essential)
- Strong knowledge of export and customs procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- Ability to plan ahead and work to deadlines
- Proactive and able to use initiative
