We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator to join our fast-paced freight forwarding team. In this role, you’ll ensure smooth and compliant customs clearances for import shipments for a 12 month maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit accurate customs declarations (import)
- Ensure HMRC and regulatory compliance
- Handle procedures such as IPR/OPR, AEO, and licensing
- Liaise with internal teams and occasionally customers
- Track shipments and resolve customs delays
- Maintain records and support audits
- Use ASM Sequoia and other customs platforms
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures
- Familiarity with ASM Sequoia, CHIEF, or CDS
