We are recruiting an experienced and qualified Company Accountant to join our client's team in West Molesey. The successful candidate will oversee financial accounting, reporting, taxation and compliance across multiple group companies, ensuring accurate financial records and strong financial controls.
Candidates must hold an FCCA or CIMA qualification.
Location: West Molesey
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Key Responsibilities Prepare annual statutory accounts, year-end schedules and monthly management accounts.
Maintain accurate financial records across multiple companies and prepare consolidated reporting where required.
Manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple clients or companies, ideally with previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
Manage inter-company accounts, transactions, loans and monthly reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare and review VAT returns, Corporation Tax records, PAYE, National Insurance and CIS returns where applicable.
Liaise with HMRC regarding enquiries, correspondence, tax liabilities and compliance matters.
Review payroll journals, reconcile payroll accounts and ensure payroll liabilities are accurately recorded and paid.
