***NEW POSITION *** My clients a well established freight forwarder specialist fine art company based within the Heathrow seeking professional and experienced Business development manager to join their Heathrow team. Duties would include: Building working relationships with a network of contacts within prospective customers. Developing and implementing market sector development plans Identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for new sales. Working closely with all departments Work with the management to implement the sales strategy and business plan for the targeted area. Define target list of customer prospects based on clearly defined criteria that maximises return for our client. Demonstrate strong knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and all associated features and benefits and to tailor those benefits to the needs of the customer. Track performance of new customers, and ensure that they trade to the profile agreed. Monthly meeting with management/ directors Skills needed: Minimum 4 years sales experience Previous freight/ logistics, fine art experience Confident to make telesales calls and cold calling Industry knowledge of Freight Proven track record in new business development Outstanding customer service skills Dynamic Target …
