My client is seeking an experienced SALES EXECUTIVE (FREIGHT) to join their successful team!
Daily duties would include:
- Selling air, road, sea and courier services
- Internal and external pricing
- Cold calling
- Client visits
- Liaising with key accounts, sales and operations
- Quoting customers and follow ups
- Updating customer tariffs
- Rate negotiation
- Identifying market trends, potential and customers' needs
- Leading marketing and the communication of the product offering across the business
Skills required:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Freight sales experience
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong negotiation skills
- PC literate
- Full UK driving license and in a 15 mile radius of Gatwick airport
