My client is seeking an experienced SALES EXECUTIVE (FREIGHT) to join their successful team!

Daily duties would include:

  • Selling air, road, sea and courier services
  • Internal and external pricing
  • Cold calling
  • Client visits
  • Liaising with key accounts, sales and operations
  • Quoting customers and follow ups
  • Updating customer tariffs
  • Rate negotiation
  • Identifying market trends, potential and customers' needs
  • Leading marketing and the communication of the product offering across the business

Skills required:

  • Previous freight forwarding experience
  • Freight sales experience
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • PC literate
  • Full UK driving license and in a 15 mile radius of Gatwick airport
