I'm recruiting for a Pricing Analyst to join an expanding freight forwarding company based locally near Heathrow area. You must have AIR or OCEAN freight experience.
Daily duties will include:
- Receiving customer quotations (RFQ from CRM)
- Air & ocean freight pricing import, export and cross trade
- Negotiating rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers
- Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within an agreed time frame
- Creating and issuing quotations
- Communicate with customers to manage and follow up on all quotes, obtaining feedback to measure, analyse and circulate to relevant teams
- Track success and failure rate of quotes
- Develop and build relationships with customers
- Updating tariffs
Experience needed:
- Hands on operational and industry knowledge of air cargo
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong numerical and commercial skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Excel and Power BI
Working hours: Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00 or 08:30-16:30 with 26 days WFH.
