We are seeking an experienced Air Export Operator to join our busy freight forwarding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in air exports who enjoys managing shipments from start to finish while delivering outstanding customer service.
You will take ownership of export shipments, ensuring all documentation, customs requirements, and airline bookings are completed accurately and efficiently.
Working closely with customers, airlines, suppliers, and internal departments, you will ensure shipments move smoothly from collection through to final destination.
Key Responsibilities Manage air export shipments from booking through to departure.
Arrange collections and coordinate transport with suppliers.
Book cargo with airlines and monitor flight schedules.
Follow customer SOPs and ensure all operational requirements are met.
Prepare export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, B2B and consolidation shipments.
Complete accurate export customs declarations in accordance with HMRC regulations.
Provide proactive updates to customers throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Liaise with airlines, overseas agents, hauliers, customs authorities, and internal teams.
