You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager, UK customers, overseas offices and operational teams, taking ownership of export airfreight shipments from start to finish .
Your main responsibility will be to manage export airfreight consignments for UK-based customers, ensuring every shipment is organised, documented and delivered according to customer expectations.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include
- Arranging and monitoring export collections for UK customers.
- Managing customer bookings and updating the internal order management system.
- Handling customer and partner enquiries by email and telephone.
- Preparing and checking export documentation.
- Raising export customs entries and ensuring shipment information is accurate.
- Preparing Air Waybills (AWBs) and other documentation associated with air export shipments.
- Liaising closely with operations teams and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Monitoring collections and proactively addressing any issues or delays.
- Checking consignments to ensure all information is correct and complete.
- Working with customers and colleagues to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Ensuring shipments are rated correctly so that invoicing can be completed accurately and on time.
- Providing KPI information and reports where required.
- Assisting with credit management queries.
- Supporting the wider team with general day-to-day administration.

You’ll ideally have previous experience within airfreight exports , with a good understanding of export processes, documentation and customs requirements.
